The story of one Nissan and its Heat-Sensitive Paint

It probably goes without saying, but life is pretty grand for us here at Jackie Cooper Nissan. Get to meet new people on the daily while spending quality time with our new and used car lineup, and when it's time to punch the clock, it isn't long before we repeat the process all over again. What can we say, there's no complaints to be had.

Then again, it's hard not to be envious of the mad geniuses in our car parts department every once in a while. Case in point: their recent discovery of the heat-sensitive paint.

If this is all coming as news, this new dawn of custom paint jobs was recently brought to the world's attention thanks to the employees of Auto Kandy, an automotive paint ship in the UK. They took a video of an orange R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R while some of them poured ice cold water onto it. The more water they pour, the vehicle's affected areas start changing from solid orange to streaks of black and back again as the water dries.

It's something to see alright, and with almost 2.5 million views on the video on YouTube, we're guessing it won't be long before this head-turning paint job becomes a common sight here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

So if you'd like to see more of Auto Kandy's creations in action, feel free to visit their Facebook page. Or if you'd like to learn more about turning your 2014 Nissan Altima into a chameleon on four wheels, we'd be happy to answer your question down here at our dealership. Can't let the UK have all the fun now, can we?
