Nissan Billboard Sets World Record with Usain Bolt
If you have paid any attention to the last two Olympics, you know that Jamaican Sprinter Usain Bolt has been setting world records on in the 100m and 200m dash. But we are not here to talk about his achievements on the track. Instead, Usain Bolt has teamed up with Nissan to set another record. Confused? The people at Jackie Cooper Nissan are here to explain.
Stationed at the Dubai International Airport, Nissan recently installed a 91-foot long, 19 feet wide, billboard of Usain Bolt and the new Nissan GT-R. This is their newest installment of the "What IF_" campaign.
What makes this billboard so fascinating? Other than the fact that it's the largest billboard in the world, there are over 183,000 white LED lights that illuminate the sign. And while Usain has impressive acceleration at the 100m dash, the GT-R also has an impressive number of its own; a zero-to-sixty sprint time of a mere 2.7 seconds.
Bolt had this to say about his newest world record "It's a pleasure being part of another world record and I continue breaking world records, because that's what I do."1.
The folks at Jackie Cooper Nissan believe this a very bold statement to make! But since this is the "What IF_" campaign, it only seems natural. Speaking of natural, come take a seat in one of the brand new Nissan models sitting on the Jackie Cooper lot in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
