2015 Nissan Murano to Liven the New York International Auto Show

Back in 2002, Nissan introduced a vehicle that was unlike any other on the road. It larger than the typical sedan, and it wasn't a truck or an SUV. What the automaker brought to the automotive industry was a refined crossover with the perfect fusion of style, practicality, comfort and excitement. That product was the Nissan Murano.

Now in its third generation, the new vehicle will once again redefine the crossover landscape this week at the New York International Auto Show. Remember the hype at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show when Nissan revealed the Resonance Concept? That translates over to the 2015 model year.

Styling includes a "V-Motion" nose, boomerang-shaped light fixtures, and a streamlined roof with disconnected D-pillars. The 2015 Murano is available with LED headlamps, and, for improved aerodynamics, the Murano features active grille shutters and sharper design, reflecting a 0.31 coefficient of drag.

The interior also boasts features such as Zero Gravity seats (inspired by NASA for improved posture), a large panoramic moonroof, available heating and cooling, among others.

What do you like most about the new Murano? Let us know on our Jackie Cooper Nissan blog and keep up with the New York International Auto Show. We also invite you to our ** Tulsa, OK** showroom for additional information about the lineup!
